Broker Margin Minimum?

My broker is tradezero and it won't give me margin on stocks below $3. Is this universal for most brokers? Or do some brokers offer margin below that?

Could compare there. Believe it’s different depending on where you live and their regulations.

For U.S resident trading U.S theirs a 100% margin on short positions below 3.00 it says.

Some strategies are restricted or not allowed on stocks which fall below a threshold. That's one of the reason for reverse splits.
