Broke, Living In A Basement, With "Negative Savings": This Is What Millennials Spend Their Money On

I don't understand. Driving under the posted speed? Was there a speed minimum posting? Since speedometers have to be calibrated regularly in order to be exact, 41 in a 45 is not unreasonable by any stretch of the imagination. I don't get it. Did you mouth off to her or something?

Were you holding up traffic?

Lol! Was around 8:45 pm, and not a car near me. And was nice as a puppy dog to her. She was on DUI patrol, and wasn't playing by the rules. My gf said she was shocked we weren't drinking, considering it's a water front grill/bar setting. She did have a dumb ass look on her face when she realized she fucked up. But to write me for this shit??? Unreal!!

While in the Air Force I once got a ticket for going 10 MPH in a posted 15 MPH zone... similar cop misconduct. I tore the ticket up and threw it into the cop's face! Not all that smart, but I was pissed. The cop apparently reflected on it and tore his copy up also.

Sounds like Camp Lejeune. Lol! And speaking of base MP's, I do remember the night I fell out of the passenger side of the car (drunk, of course), on the deck at the feet of a boot MP. They sure like to enforce stuff. Lol!!

Firearms guy you are, glad to hear you say that.

Though an expert marksman with a rifle, I'm not really a gun guy. But with an engineer's mindset and having read the reviews of Hi-Point owners on Cabela's web site, I gave a 9mm C9 a try. (Liked it so much, I bought a 2nd.) Works just fine, is accurate, easy to strip and clean, other than having to knock out a retaining pin with a punch... and for the cost of one higher-end pistol, I can have 3 or 4 of these C9s scattered around the house. I also bought a 995TS... 9mm carbine. That's a joy to shoot and very accurate within the round's range... also comes in .40SW and .45ACP.

There are a lot of videos about "problems with Hi-Point 9mm pistol".... all seem to revolve around the magazine. The front mag lips are crimped-in a bit and tend to not be consistent in their spacing... causes to the round to "nose down" too low into the feed ramp resulting an occasional FTL. Mine were .330-.350 from the factory. Some old timer suggested the proper spacing should be .360-.365. I tweaked all of mine to about .360.. and all feed without a hitch.

Gun snobs don't like Hi-Point. I suspect most of them have never fired one.

Everyone just has to have the big names; the pistols "da cops" carry, etc., I'd be more than happy to have a hi-point in every room vs a few big ticket pieces scattered here and there. Oh, and check out that 15 round kel tec pump shotgun. I thought it would be some junk until seeing the sheer abuse it takes, plus the raw firepower it packs in my favorite .12g 2 3/4" 00. This shotgun beside my bed, and I'd sleep even better. Jesus! 15 rounds of .12g! Now that's seriously serious. Lol!

On the "10 mph in a 15 mph zone", it was raining. Cop cited "driving too fast for conditions". (Good thing they can't write you up for walking too fast!) I'd received a few other "marginal" tickets... more than I deserved.

I was sure the MPs had a hard-on for my car. It was a red Datsun 2000 sports car with a black-striped hood.... no others like it on base or in town. Probably jealous I could afford one from my bowling and poker winnings.

Well, that's what you NEED when the zombies attack! You can't just kill them, you gotta blow their heads off... you could get a whole crowd of them with 15 rounds of "00".

Well, if you outranked them, and drove that car, yes, can imagine a few pricks would be after it. I'd just rather look at the car, and then try to figure out what I'd need to do to own one. And driving too fast for conditions is still a chargeable offense in most states as well. What it 'should' mean, and be enforced as, for example, someone driving the posted 45mph on a solid sheet of ice, no one can even stand on. Stuff like that. Is certainly a thin reason, but many still use that one to stop people just so they can get a DUI, drugs, or whatever. I couldn't face myself if I had done anything of the sort. I was never a mr by the book, but was big into doing exactly what the Constitution stated, meaning I'd tread very lightly. It wasn't until I had mounds of evidence that I'd squash someone's ass. These days, I'm just glad to pull away from the curb without a hole in my chest from our new generation of idiots.:(

Keeping heads down, and advancement was exactly what I was thinking this shotgun would be ideal for. Is totally legal, not a Class III (yet), and is just pure mean! Is a legal length, but would literally go under a winter coat. Damn! In the right hands, this shotgun could hold heads down for some serious amounts of time. Reloads easy too. Am gonna buy one from a local gun trader site so I don't have to screw with the paperwork, as I KNOW this one will be outlawed as soon as some lunatic does something stupid with one. Gun store owner told me, "mark my words. As soon as they make this into a semi-auto, it will be a goner." I sadly agree. But pump action and this entire setup is perfectly fine with me. Trust me. Go check one out. In CO, they're legal. For right beside the bed, I really can't think of much better besides a 12g pump. This one just happens to be on roids. Lol!

One of the things which worries me is "what are the cops and military going to do when the Federal Government mandates the use of force against the citizenry"?

I've been hoping the cops and military would refuse to turn weapons on regular citizens, but with what's going on in civil seizures, I fear the cops are gonna act without conscience and do exactly what the Federale Overlords tell them to do...

Whatever happened to respect for the Constitution?? Civil seizure is clearly a violation of the 4th Amendment... but the cops and their municipal superiors go along with it out of sheer greed.

Funny you asked about the .357 lever action. I'm looking for one now. Was IMPOSSIBLE to find during the Onazi gun grab attempt! Whomever told you the above, is a guy I'd listen to. Very good advice! You should see how much muzzle velocity a rifled .357 mag creates! Wow!

Checked the Hornady Ballistics Calculator... a .44 Magnum carbine produces about 1900 FPE (Foot Pounds Energy)... vs 9mm handgun ~ 340 FPE with +P ammo. IOW... LOTTA THUMP in the .44!

Not only that, you can HIT something with a rifle... even a short one like a carbine... whereas, it's easy to miss with a hand gun.

Oh no worries bro. After the first wave of a shtf starts, more than half will be defecting, and protecting their families. A "fuck that" attitude will spread like a forest fire. And the rest that would stick around... Pure lunatics who won't last long! If I were wearing a badge, and the shtf, I'm racing home like my ass is on fire! Lol!
