Not a "problem" but rather a strength. The genius Founders wanted to make it difficult for the "rule of the land" to be changed willy-nilly. (The Constitution has built-in protocol for its change.... just get the legislature to pass a bill to amend the Constitution and then get 75% of the states to ratify. IOW... if the country REALLY wants some change, it can get it. But none of this "50% +1" to change it for everybody crap! In case one has forgotten, or never knew... America is NOT a democracy... but rather a Republic with rules of law. And thank goodness for that!)

Of course the Lefty-Globalists disdain the Constitution... it's the antithesis of all the power and control (everything) they want.... and what the Founders wanted to make IMPOSSIBLE to attain.... which, in case one hasn't noticed, is what made America great AND THE ENVY OF THE WORLD, BTW.

exactly right. it protects us from govt officials. its a problem if you are a wanna bee commie or fascist or even a deep stater with a plan to overthrow an elected president.

I'm not religious but I do like the idea of a moral law or God's law, a protection for inherent natural rights that no one can remove which is a must (unless you've infringed on another person's rights obviously or committed a crime).
The idea that there are no higher power creator rules to abide by so then we get man made government - dogmatic state rules and then run into the problems that man with all his good intentions begins to eventually believe that the state or he - she is some kind of God , which is a slippery slope when you look at history. This is what happened in communist Russia and the main reason millions died. Humanity needs protecting from itself which is the main purpose of the constitution in my opinion.

Quite a few Brits are still not big on the Declaration of Independence either.


Our constitution makes it more difficult to adopt elements of Sharia Law here, and we know that is considered to be "too rigid" for some of the newcomers in Britain.
