What's the overnight leverage? 6x? So is that $140,000 with $20,000 account?
Quote from Don Bright:
We offer a Lifetime training class (you can come back as often as you like) for $1,000. This is open to the public and helps traders from any Firm, even retail. We offer an extended, hands on, live trading "boot camp" which serves to speed the learning curve up by months, if not a year (which could save the trader $thousands), for $1500. Both are optional. I take top traders away from trading for these classes, and have kept the prices the same for 12 years. We fill these up only 4 times per year.

Just a quick question for Don, or any one who knows:
Can I execute MOC orders through Bright trading? I heard that it was difficult/impossible through Redi+. If yes, can I link my own programs through the system's API to send orders? How many orders can I send per second?
Currently I am on the Sterling platform, which sends a max of 30 orders/sec. This is a huge problem for me.
What I need from a firm:
100-200 orders/sec
75-100x leverage
<0.003 commission
I am willing to contribute $100k to my account and trade over 10 million shares per month with the above criteria. Can Bright trading or any other firms offer me this?
Quote from jones247:
How much does it cost Bright or most Prop Firms to clear a transaction? For example, if Bright is charging .003 per share ($3 per thousand), is it costing Bright about .0003 per share ($0.3 per thousand) to clear the trade?
thanks,
Walt

about 30-40 cents(total) per 1000 thousand shares is what i have heard, the same # you have posted. That is not through GSEC though, but another major clearing firm, but probably ball park number for them as well.
Quote from Don Bright:
LOL, man do I wish. With overhead, costs are near the low end of our trader commish...yes, we break even on a per share basis with a good chunk of our shares.
GSEC (love em or hate em) is the best, but not the cheapest. The benefits outweigh some of the costs, as in all business ventures.
