Thanks, I had that doubt and had not been able to articulate it.

So when the angle of ascent turns into a TC one forgets about the initial DL and traces the TC DL. Now I see why it did not break.

Don't forget about it, but focus on what buyers and sellers are doing rather than just lines. Buyers can't get any traction, but sellers are unable to pull price below the LSL. So you end up with a sideways move and a lateral DL. It's not a TR bec there is no defined upper limit. But it sure isn't a trend, either.
 
Today was more like being in the land of the undead. Trending up, but not really. An untrend, but not a non-trend.

Yes, thanks again, today was a great day for improving the learning process. Although I had given up on lines a couple of weeks ago, I started playing with them as I thought something was missing.

I am going to run some replay and come up with some answers to the subject of scratching.

Days like today are a good test for a scratching rule as it would have been triggered a couple of times alerting me about the arc issue.
