As per Sept 2014 Futures Mag, he is in Calgary and works as an advisor in the natural gas market

Not trading the close, apparently.

The partial trading ban bars Hunter from trading in all futures regulated by the CFTC during the settlement period on the day of the month that the contracts expire. It also prevents him from trading natural gas futures during each day’s settlement period. Hunter can’t apply for registration with the CFTC or engage in any activity requiring registration.
