Brexit Vote Direct Result Of Merkel's Immigration Policy

British Millennials have themselves to blame for what happened

Looking at the graphic in the story, 18-24 and 25-49 did not vote at larger %'s than 50-64 and 65-older. But the actual number of each demographic is not included. I wonder how the totals would have went if an even 10% of each group didn't vote? Would an extra 5.4% of 18-24's voting remain been enough to swing the result?

Now the knee-jerk reaction is for London to want to secede from the UK and remain in the EU.

I guess they want to prove their patriotism and loyalty to the rest of the country. After all, what is hundreds of years of history and tradition when some City banker's bonus might be impacted?

As with the US, breaking away from a country where you no longer feel at home or share any values at all is not the worst idea. The north of England shares about as much with Londonistan as Mississippi does with NYC. Breaking up both countries makes a lot of sense.

You're right. Brexit was a referendum on Merkles disastrous immigration policies. France now tabling a referendum. Guess they're tired of the Muzzies

Look at the map on BBC. That is not what the map (or BBC reporting) shows. There is a old vs. young divide. However the urban areas nearly all voted to Leave - making immigration a primary issue in the vote.

For example, the only two core boroughs of London voting to stay are the core wealthy ones where the bankers live. All the suburbs voted to Leave. All the other cities in England voted to Leave generally.

As a follow-up note about the overall vote in London - "Within London, 28 boroughs voted in favour of remaining, while five followed the rest of England in backing Brexit ." "More than 2.2 million London voters backed Remain compared to 1.5million in favour of Leave."

The suburbs voted to Leave.

I'm guessing the dem leadership and their media allies are working non stop right now to come up with a plan to change the whole narrative of Brexit. Just like they did when a muslim walked into a bar and mowed down 100 people. They turned it all into debate on guns. So Trump wouldn't be 'right'.

I'll be shocked if in the next few days they're not trying to somehow do the same thing with Brexit. Because Brexit is a Trump plus.
