I was looking at their homepage today and noticed a large red banner, alerting all customers in Europe to initiate an account transfer. Apparently you need to log in to your account to start the transfer procedure. It does not affect me, so I don't know what happens next.Has anyone already got migrated? It's the last day of 2020 but I still didn't receive any information. I'm starting to feel that IBKR is not really controlling the situation and it doesn't look like they have the migration process under control

3. When will the Proposed Transfer occur?
At present, the Proposed Transfer will likely occur on mid-December. We will write to you again ahead of the Proposed Transfer.
You are right. In November i gave my o.k for an account migration to ireleand. Since then i didn´t hear anything from IB. So tomorrow is the first of the new year. I would like to know if i can trade on the next monday without the PDT Rule or other restrictions. I was told that the PDT rule does no longer exist for accounts which are moved to the new EU based IB firms.Well, I opted in for migration a week ago already and I was told to wait - so I'm waiting, but it looks like there is not much time left this year
Did you send the paperwork needed?
