Brett Favre Dirty Play

Quote from Dr. Zhivodka:

I knew it.

I was 6'00 210 small MLB and 5 back in the godawful texas wishbone.

Some minor D1 offers. Then there was an sharp E9 who sold me on the whole program and living the life.

I chose well.

Shit I only reached 200lbs a few years ago, after going over 40... and it ain't muscle.

That must've been the same master guns that offered me free LBFM's for all, plus a MAC flight to get there. Have you ever heard of an NCO on a MAC flight for a pleasure destination, much less a LCPL?

Hook - line - and motherfuckin sinker.

You were with the Wing?

1/5 Pendleton...

... didn't know any better though, while sitting in the recruiters' office at 17 and promised the world. Wanted to fly jets but have bad eyes. I didn't even know you had to go to college for that. They gave me a $1000.00 signing bonus to be a grunt instead and I thought I struck gold.

You a lifer?

We were all taught to go low for a block from peewee on up. Even though he's been in the NFL for as long as he has, sometimes you just react. Not an excuse... just something to think about.
I see you went (semi?) pro, so I'll give you your props. But that looked an awful lot like a blindside (read: sucker punch) break for the guys' knees. Shift your weight the wrong way, and it's over after one of those.

I'm just say'in ... his 40 year ligaments won't holdup if he takes the same hit, that's all. :p

Quote from AAAintheBeltway:

You're the only one whining about it. No penalty on the play, and not even a fine from the league. I didn't see anything from BB or Brady either. Brady is probably realizing he didn't get what he deserved, a blindside late hit on his bad knee. That would be the sort of thing the Pats do.

I don't whine. I calls em as I sees em. If you're so against "dirty play" then what exactly is it NE does that you consider dirty? BTW, I've always thought the same thing about NE's play as well as the Steelers, with the extra push up defenders do on ball carriers after the tackle. I just don't let it cloud my judgement on a per play basis.

Wow that coach is a moron. Guy is old as hell, and he has him out there throwin blocks in the pre-season. What a dick
