And there was no crime so what's the big deal.
And yet here you are again, doing exactly what you say you are not doing in this thread.
Plus, what with using the words "Grown ass White men" you are being racist.
You are exactly the thing you rail against. It shines through like sun through glass.![]()
And there was no crime so what's the big deal.
At what number would you say it would be fair, your not happy at 98.3%
This is beyond ironic...a summer of property, statues and the like destroyed and the artist is stunned and shocked when they came for his statue. Sorry pal, that's how "the cookie crumbles".The bust includes a plaque that reads: “Say Her Name, Breonna Taylor,” the station said.
“At first I was stunned and shocked and hurt and angry,” artist Leo Carson, who created the sculpture, told the outlet.
“Just a whole bunch of emotions,” he said. “It felt like I was personally attacked and also they attacked Breonna Taylor and the BLM movement.”
And there it is. Your racist badge. Don’t tell me you didn’t earn it.This is beyond ironic...a summer of property, statues and the like destroyed and the artist is stunned and shocked when they came for his statue. Sorry pal, that's how "the cookie crumbles".
Lol....nice try pal. Once a behavior is deemed acceptable by society, that behavior will happen with greater frequency. That is a factual observation and is hardly racist. Move along now.And there it is. Your racist badge. Don’t tell me you didn’t earn it.
The same justice system doesn’t prosecute bad cops? Before you respond with some particular case where you feel the cop got off, cops do and are convicted in court. Also there are criminals that get off on technicalities......
My point, there’s an inordinate amount of coverage given in society to police killings, which in contrast to drive-by shootings are minuscule in number. The gang problem will not be controlled until society deals with the problems that drive inner-city children into that lifestyle. When being in or associated to a gang carries such a negative stigma that it is spurned by todays youth.
If the resources, time and interest were put in that direction..... we’d begin to see results.
I understand your point but believe you are mistaken that media coverage of police brutality pulls resources away from fighting crime. Speak with a city council or mayor of a city...the media coverage does not dictate their budget or resources to fight crime. It just dictates what is in the general public but the police and city resources are heavily into fighting gang violence but apart from putting a cop every 10 feet 24 hours a day in those neighborhoods, it is going to take a lot more.
Also the justice system is not geared towards punishing cops. the union protects police officers. Cops don't tell on other cops, it is a code and Internal Affairs always has trouble getting cops to turn others in. It is no secret. Let's look at all the cops with repeated complaints who still are out there on the beat interacting with the public. If you were a poor waitress with numerous complaints would management keep you serving customers?
Particular case? We all can pull numerous cases of cops either getting off or WOULD HAVE GOTTEN OFF if not for a video or media coverage of the event. Until police can correctly police themselves, we need some assistance from the all might camera.
Cmon... here you have to admit that in GENERAL even disregarding race..cops get off for bad behavior all the time because cops are asked to police cops...that will never work.
