Breonna Taylor sculpture smashed by vandals in California

Still not sure the Elk statue has anything to do with the “BPOE”...... but to your assertion yeah they’re a bunch of bad boys.

From your link.
The current requirements include belief in God, American citizenship, willingness to recite the Pledge of Allegiance, willingness to salute the flag of the United States of America, willingness to support the laws and Constitution of the United States of America, being of good character and being at least 21 years of age.
Also from the link:

...No person shall be accepted as a member of this Order unless he be a white male citizen of the United States of America...

And yet the Elk statue has zero connection to the “Elks Lodge”
I didn't know anything about a problem with elks either. But Wallet capitalized "Elk." And so I looked up the Elk Club, and there it was. I could be way off and out of context. But Wallet's capitalizing of Elk made me think of the club rather than the animal itself.

Of course, if the statue represented nothing more than an elk and was defaced and damaged just for the sake of defacing and damaging, then it is a shame.

Everyone assumes the Breonna Taylor statue was defaced with some racist intent....... because it fits today’s racially dividing narrative.
None of us can know for sure. So we traders think in probabilities.

Is it more probable that there was racial intent, or not?

IMO, it is more likely that the statue was destroyed based on racism; rather than based on a random act.

What did they do to them, or what do they represent? If my ancestors were oppressed by some historical figure then, yeah, I would be offended that his likeness would be exalted in some square to this day. If you are an American and you saw the likeness of a seditious historical figure exalted in some square then, yeah, YOU should be offended. Meanwhile, what did Breonna Taylor do to offend ANYONE? What does she represent that offends ANYONE?

You can be offended all you like. You can protest. You can take legal action. You can boycott and vote your convictions. What you can't do, or at least could not do previously, is take it upon yourself to destroy or remove that which offends you. Again, for the umpteenth time, once a society accepts that behavior the door is open for any and all offenses, real or perceived.

Whites only requirement was lifted decades ago?

1990s? 1980s? People still think slavery/racism ended in 1864-65
Exactly.

Again from the link:

...Until 1973, the national constitution of the Elk lodge restricted membership to white men.[18][19][20]

In 1972, the Elks expelled the head of the Ridgewood lodge because of his advocacy against the Elk's racially discriminatory policies.[21][22] A resolution to repeal the discriminatory clause passed in 1973 after failing at 3 previous national conventions.[23]

In 1989, there were allegations of applicants being denied membership in lodges located in various parts of California because of their race...[24]

Absolutely incorrect.

Society never ok'ed vigilante justice.

Many of those Confederate etc. statues were taken down by the authorities. That doesn't "open the door" for criminal actions and vigilantism.
