So before Steve Bannon merged Democrat issues with anti immigrant, anti globalism nationalism, the republicans were running the opposition to Wall Street reform and policies that protect American workers. And they still are but now they are just giving lip service.

Trump is using the regulatory rules to roll back worker protections and stacking the courts to ensure workers can’t get a fair shake when their employers poison them and make them work in unsafe conditions. That’s the reality.

I asked how you could be supporting establishment democrats with those values. I have the same issue with Michael Moore. He gets some things right in his movies. Its his solutions which suck. Democrats don't help the workers he pretends he cares about.

Prior to Trump... Perot and Gephardt were the last national politicians(seeking national office) who were really pushing for workers. (in my memory.)
No one here is claiming the establishment republicans are not working for the same cronies as almost all the democrats.
Steve Bannon knows there are millions of democrats and republican voters who are not being represented in D.C. because the leaders are corrupt. He is not the first guy to realize that.
That idea has been on this board since at least GWB was presidency.

I am not caught up in some cult. Trump got some stuff done on nafta because he is a Republican and Democrats do not oppose reforms to so called free trade. It has only been since Trump stepped on the scene that republicans have supported this on a large scale.
You don’t here me opposing tariffs or tightening up nafta by and large. I will take it no matter where it comes from and it doesn’t even have to be perfect. That’s called progress.
But again to say democrats are the problem in these areas shows either how naive you are or how caught up in the cult you are.

I oppose Kavanaugh because he is a conservative. I supported further investigation because Ford’s allegation was credible.
