Sounds like he is taking a page out of Sleepy J's non-answer when asked if he would pack the court. "I am not going to answer that because if I did that is all the press would be focused on for days."
I don't know about North Carolina these days. Mark Sanford set a low bar for being faithful to your wife and it keeps getting lower there. I can see someone marketing "NC IS FOR CHEATERS" tee shirts before long to compete with the "VA IS FOR LOVERS" shtick.

I have no explanation for this -- North Carolina's Senate race goes to Cunningham being 10 points up after he admits sex scandal and refuses to answer if there are other women. His polling jumps hugely among men.

Yep... his polls actually got the biggest boost when he refused to deny there was more women in the now infamous press interview where he was asked 4 times for an answer.
His polling went way up among men -- who were probably thinking "<place your assumption here>".
