Merely a temporary stay by a Texas friendly federal court that will be quickly overruled.
This is a Federal court of appeals. Might end up in the Supreme Court.
Eventually this federal vaccine mandate will land up in the U.S. Supreme Court — a court with over a century long record of supporting vaccine mandates.
Howver this current temporary stay is nothing more than Texas AG Ken Paxton shopping for a friendly court venue.
If you're in Texas, its the local federal district court, then the 5th circuit. No possibility of going elsewhere.
Dream on. SCOTUS does not have a century long record of supporting vaccine mandates barring people from employment using OSHA.
This is going to be blown apart on the federal level.
You might get it to stick for federal employees, contractors. But the private sector, strictly a State matter.
The SCOTUS record of strongly supporting vaccine mandates goes all the way back 1905. They will do so again shortly.
