hello, trade US equities intraday.
I would like to know any software or ways to monitor to large increases in vol that are way above or below the "norm"
today, i saw AET ran up big time, then saw on the new wires, it was related to news but if I knew the big breakout due the increase of vol I could have had a chance.
I would like to be able to monitor stocks vol and if the average is broken by a large % I would like some type of alert...

here is the chart on AET, see the vol is average then all the buyers came in. the info came in on the newswires after it moved.
