Bread

That's right, bread. Not the money kind, bread.

I make my own bread in a machine thats better than anything you could buy and costs me well less than $1 for a 2Lb loaf . Same thing they charge $5 or more for in the gyp bakery.

And it's fresh, not sitting there all day.

...You just discovered the Holy Grail...to business success and riches;
Make something cheap, and sell it for more. :cool:,:)

...Average people, and corporations, have been doing this for the past 500 years.
Why not you...get Some Action of that moolah,

I also make bread as much of the bread here in Colombia has too much sugar (preservative).

Sometimes I add a lot of chopped fresh basil to the dough which is great in thick slices with meatballs & Italian tomato sauce instead of spaghetti.

I quite like hand-kneading instead of the machine though it can take 40 minutes to replicate a mixer. Builds the forearms anyway.

We got a bread making machine some time ago and it was a revelation. The bread coming out of it is so much better than the one in the store.

mlawson71, hope you're hip enough to buy your yeast in bulk, from Walmart or online.

MUCH!! Cheaper. And once open will last for YEARS in the freezer.

I do buy my yeast in bulk online, I can't be bothered to run to the store every time it runs out otherwise.
And, as you said, it's way cheaper.
