Look at it this way, had they done today (initial Covid-19 outbreak) similar like reaction to SARS via the preparedness policies and citizens with the will to be socially responsible if a Pandemic were to occur...

There would have not been lockdowns costing economies trillions of dollars and they would have save many more lives.

SARS was very hard to spread so no comparison at all, Ebola even harder to spread.

Covid almost as easy as the commom cold, which is also a corona virus I think not 100% on that, that's why it's spreads so fast.

The biggest problem with Covid is not its ease of spreading. It's its extremely long incubation period that is symptomless. This is why the battle against Covid-19 is so long and drawn out.

This is what numerous and numerous expert epidemiologists warned us again and again and again but WHO just decided to ignore again and again and again.

Totally different animal, SARS really hard to spread, COVID really easy to spread, SARS much higher death rate so good job really.

COVID is like trying to stop the common cold spreading, SARS only slightly easier than EBOLA.

SARS had a much shorter incubation period than Covid-19...allowing Covid-19 to spread much easier while going undetected for longer periods of time.

WHO ignored it, world leaders ignored it especially their countries own health officials giving the same warnings.

With SARS...health officials were able to jump on it right away. Covid-19 is more ninja like and the current social irresponsibilities are like weapons for Covid-19 whereas SARS didn't have similar like weapons.

Simply, our governments enable Covid-19 high infection / death rate...we didn't enable SARS because we went after it early in the battle.

Then when they realized they screwed up...they lockdown. It's a work around but only if the citizens (including the leaders) are socially responsible during / after lockdown to prevent a 2nd wave.

WHO can't be that useless, when we all knew on here, it's Airborne in shops exactly like there claiming 3months+ back, huge thread on it, how did they miss this until being forced into admitting it, personally I think WHO want to create as much economic damage as possible, if they'd of admitted the Airborne we'd of know ( I did ), how useless a weak lockdown is if you can go in side a shop, while going on about beaches which is fine and safe to distract us.

Add in over estimating the death rate, there 4.8% still, CDC dropped to 0.3% 4weeks ish back, no way we'd of done this much damage for 0.07% death rate, which is all UK is.

Swine Flu, just like Covid got around the world even quicker, didn't kill many but 6weeks before everyone on the planet pretty much had had the thing.

Oh it's pretty useless. EVERY SINGLE of their directive has been proven too slow, too late, too wrong. All the countries who have been more successful in combatting the virus outbreak are all the ones who have ignored WHO and have acted according to their research and instincts. They shut off their border with China when WHO was still declaring that the risk of infection from the virus is very slow. They imposed mandatory mask-wearing when WHO was still downplaying the effectiveness and the necessity of the mask. They imposed closer monitoring and more effective contact tracking when WHO was still denying the possibility of symptomless transmission despite clear well-documented cases right from the beginning of the pandemic when the virus was just confined in China.

All the countries who have chosen to listen to WHO and adopt its directives as the basis for their policies were all screwed. They all had longer lockdown periods, steeper disease curve, more severe economic damage. WHO only had ONE job and ONE job only to do, that is provide effective leadership during major health crisis and it totally f***ed up. Imagine if the ENTIRE world every single country REALLY listened to WHO and followed all of its directives to the T, You and I would not be alive right now writing in this thread. The idiot head of WHO needs to resign and WHO needs to be reformed, MAJOR reform.

Or Both out Countries have done Sweden, ie Herd with lockdowns which where too late and too weak, but with BS weak lockdowns to make people think we are on top of it and protecting them.

Don't get me wrong, I'm happy with Herd as I don't think it's that bad, but why do lockdowns aswell and put millions out of jobs and ruin kids educations

Takes too long and too costly to actually Fight, Australia parts of 12week lockdown in 1 area as it's gone wild again, bigger the population density harder it is to fight.

Are you still screaming about those 0,1 death rates in every thread that has the word Covid in it Turveyd? Others pointed out several times that the real death rate is estimated to be around 1,5% to 2% based on facts.

I pointed out to you several times that this death rate is only valid as long as the medical system is not flooded. If all beds are occupied that death rate will go up.

It's getting boring man, everybody by now knows your personal believe is the media make everything up and only 85+ sick people will die even if we don't do anything. You never produce valid sources and every time your numbers are called out to be wrong you just throw out some other wrong or out of context numbers. Followed by calling everyone idiots because they can't see the truth like you.

Please prove me wrong and produce a legitimate source for those 0,1% death rate numbers.
