Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro tests positive for Covid-19

It will be surprise when YOU get it.

Odds are larger that any American or Brazilian will get it then me. The data doesn't lie. Canada only has 200-300 new cases a day in a population of 39M. There is no guarantee I won't get it but I take precautions and haven't really been sick at all in 20 years.

This Brazilian leader and Trump are similar guys. They are morons dismissing the virus as a non threat and exposing their countries to massive outbreaks.

So far it looks like upto 40% have immunity from T-Cels, other than that we are all going to get / be exposed to, but don't worry, it's not the plague, it's killing very very few unless your already dying and soon.

NYC is over, everyones had it, 0.17%, mostly >75 and already terminal.

UK Deaths <50 are 1000, only 200 those are without a serious medical condition and most likely a bad coke habbit.

Do some CV, take some D3 tablets or get some sun and Zinc and it'll be less than a moderate cold.

Don't believe the media hype, FEAR sells.

Any idea why an invasive nasopharyngeal swab is required to test for covid when team science says we need to cover everyone’s mouth because simply SPEAKING can cause virus transmission? Just have everyone cough into a agar Petri dish, no?
Asking for a friend.

More false positives via a petri dish and it takes longer to culture from a petri dish...resulting in longer waiting times for results. If someone was severely ill...they could die while waiting for the results. Also, petri dish are a little more problematic in mass transportation to a lab for testing.

Covid-19 is not unique in the testing. Many other airborne diseases from respiratory require that long invasive nasopharyngeal swab. Another issue, you'll be surprise with how many elderly or normal people don't have the lung capacity to even just give a single cough that strong enough (viral load) for proper sampling in a petri dish. Further, its a big issue for small children infected with Covid-19.

Also, you don't want someone to cough into a petri dish especially if they're infected with something that's airborne / contagious and then the next person to be tested is now standing in the same area that the prior person had recently just coughed.

Simply, you have more control with a nasopharyngeal swab without making it airborne. More protection for others around you that are not infected.

Swabs has been traditionally the preference of use in outpatient or in the field setting...more efficient, faster and safer.

I’d love to take a stab at laces out and Ayn In a ring. Bare knuckles.

Brazil's Jair Bolsonaro tests positive for Covid-19 after months of dismissing the seriousness of the virus

https://www.cnn.com/2020/07/07/americas/brazil-bolsonaro-positive-coronavirus-intl/index.html

It does raise that rumor if President Trump had actually tested positive for Covid-19...White House kept it a secret...then the arm weakness while drinking water awkwardness...then the stability weakness while walking down a slope at West Point...

It does make you wonder about what's going on. :D

Lets see if hydroxychloroquine and azithromycin goes to the forefront again by the media and if Bolsonaro will suddenly get quiet about those treatments.

Story gets better...
  • Bolsonaro attended a July 4th commemoration event with the US Ambassador to Brazil Todd Chapman on Saturday.
Just can't make this up.

2nd wave, here it comes!

2nd wave, here it comes!

1st wave resuming, 2nd wave would be if NYC / NJ got hit again, they aren't, it'll be over in 6weeks, calm!!

It'll mirror NYC / NJ so you know what to expect and it's not that bad, calm!!

2nd wave, here it comes!

You'll be surprise by how many people are ignorant about what typically starts a second wave...

It's called ignorance by those that think its just like the flu, no big deal, my friends caught it from me and their OK type of minimizing infectious diseases also by those with leaders spreading the same ignorance.

Phrases typically used when there's a vaccine or government approved treatment that's available to to all.

We're not there yet to be using that type of messaging...its just misinformation by the ignorance that are too impatient or just doesn't value life.

Simply, the U.S. is not a culture / country with people that typically will act socially responsible with others...not dependable for such and governments must then force responsibility on their citizens via what's called a LOCKDOWN.

In contrast, governments with socially responsible citizens only need to do a lockdown lite (less restrictions) assuming they have a healthcare system in place to support such. If not, a lockdown lite will fail miserably as in too many deaths but not as bad as a country that's less socially responsible with a poor healthcare system.

The irony or mixed message...why bother in the first place with a lockdown while spreading that type of ignorance with a healthcare system that has problems...with world leaders just as ignorant ???

Answer - Leaders trying to turn a health issue into a political issue.

The most ignorant and ridiculous message that was spread was "no need to wear a face mask because it's ineffective" just so that we would have enough for the healthcare workers while seeing all of the countries that had mandatory mask-wearing policies all flattened the curve faster and better and was able to re-open earlier. That's gotta top them all!!

Blame the WHO for that bad logic!!

Would only slow a little mind, there not that effective, but better just than nothing.
