I really don't know! Taking a step back, the incredible strength in the USD against most currencies has seen massive declines for currencies like the BRL, and possibly associated selling of emerging market equities. For all I know we could be at or near a multi-month or multi-year top in the USD, and that the worst of Brazil's problems could be priced in.

This thread is just the initial stages of my research into the country.

Correct me if I'm wrong but trading on Brazil market directly requires you to open an account directly with Brazilian broker.

Seems I was wrong - at least in theory as now can offer omnibus accounts - but it seems few if any brokers actually do.
