Bravado Culture in Trading

I was thinking about this type of sociology, humanity, question in my mind recently.

Every person, Profession, acts and behaves in a cliche, stereotypical, way.
All realtors....more or less....act and look and behave and think like realtors.
All firefighters....more or less....act and look and behave and think like firefighters.
All school teachers....more or less....act and look and behave and think like school teachers.
All wall st/finance traders ....more or less....act and look and behave and think like finance traders.

Your surroundings, nature, and purpose....shapes and molds you to the person you are, today.

But to specifically answer your question....whenever there is money involved... people get bold, aggressive, arrogant and pushy. Everyone wants to act like and be perceived as this Money Magician where they can grow money to a beanstalk to the moon, and you can't.
 
Most of the ET posters talking crap are ET trolls that come out of the woodwork. Most have very few postings. Why should it concern you if Joe Blow is making monies day trading? Or Calamity Jane making monies investing in the stockmarket? Mind your own business and concentrate on your own trading. Why the hell would you be interested in what someone else is doing if you are not just trolling? If that is the case, you need to be blocked by everyone. You are just wasting everyone's time.

Imagine if every discussion we entered, the person we are talking to, could just ask, "Are you a professional trader?"

If you ask someone what they do for a living, most people would just tell you flat out(unless they are ashamed of what they do). If you ask someone on the forum if they are a pro-trader, they'll either deflect, lie or ignore the question.

I think its all ego, just my opinion of course.

BUT since we dont know if you are SEC, broker or work for an exchange; it may have nothing to do with lies, ego. So good reason for some or many to ignore the question.
You also maybe assuming it refers only to public markets or in an exchange definition; neither of which is required.
