Brand new traders..........read this

So long my friends. I have enjoyed all the time i spent here. It was great discussing ideas with all of you. I will truly miss all my Elite Trader friends. Time has come for me to gracefully leave trading and enjoy life a little bit more. Last three years i have spent most of my time in a room starring at my monitors... almost living like a prisoner. I want to live a little. Spend time with my father... he is in his sunset years. In the beginnig... when i wrote this post, money was everything to me. Now, i feel a little different... money is not everything. Enjoying life is.

Why couldn't you adopt a strategy that would hold positions for a few days at a time--you could still enjoy life. I would think that if you really enjoyed trading, that you would stay with it.

In that case, Samson77, you're my enemy. I must defeat you at all costs. :D

A fellow trader once told me that "Traders are an odd bunch". What other kind of career out there can you guys think of where the whole point of the game is to profit off other people's misfortune?. On this forum, we all enter a "Friendly fire agreement" of sorts...so yes, support would be nice, but do you think on monday when I take your dollar away from you, that I'm gonna care?..lol..probably not.
