In the two person example, if they are told that only one of them has the dot, that one will kill himself the first night.

If they are told that "at least one" of them has a dot, then if there were only one who had the dot, he would kill himself the first night.

hey? they DID NOT know there was ten. the guys that saw 10 dots were hoping that that was all. the guys htat saw nine dots were hoping that THAT was all.
