Quit blaming offshore drilling on republicans, they didn't do it any more than dems did. Obama and dems are almost all in favor of offshore drilling as well.

The afghan strike was legit, although we should have been gone by 06 in the worst case scenario. We have no business there now. There is absolutely no excuse to be there still... It's 100% about managing the poppy/heroine/opium trade.

Iraq was never legit, otherwise they wouldn't have had to lie to procure public acquiescence for the war. The stated reasons for engaging Iraq were bullshit. If the real reasons were legitimate, they wouldn't have had to make up false one, which turned out to be bullshit anyways.

A "deadline for withdrawal" and "specific framework for withdrawal" were some of his main whoring points in his campaign. Now there is in fact MORE troops in the middle east than when he was elected!
