NIKE's market capitalization, market share and revenue shares dwarf all the others, so a few % points off of stock performance of its competitors is meaningless. Kaep had niether positive nor negative effect because his ad was a hair on the dog's tail compared to the whole business NKE does globally. NIKE does less than 50% of its business in the U.S. You think China, Europe, Middle East and Africa (which combined has more sales revenue than North America (not just U.S.) give a rat's ass about a 2 week ad campaign?
