It is obvious this isn't your area of expertise. Try, just for a moment, thinking about the big picture in consumer products. Shoes and apparel don't follow the same consumption pattern as Starbuck's coffee. After folks have loaded up on Nike wear (those that support this recent political move), that's it. Those that have gotten rid of the Nike wear they had won't affect the company in the short term - until they don't come back as consumers.
The amount of new customers this has attracted to Nike is, in all probability, low. Sure, some folks that don't run maybe went out and bought some running shoes in solidarity. But they'll never use them and they won't be back to buy them again. However, there are likely a lot of customers Nike had that won't be back, ever.
