And I don't care what color or race or whatever they call us to divide us, if a person is a criminal and the damn Police want them to settle the F down and comply with the arrest, they need to obey the Police or get kneeled upon. Taking everything away from the Police that they need to arrest people (and control riots like using tear gas) is insane. Defunding the Police is an insane activity. I have Police officers in my family and they think this defunding the Police BS is completely nuts. I do also.

I *think* what you are saying here is that anyone who dies in the custody of the police is their own fault, no matter how little resistance they give to the police. As long as there is a bit of resistance, the perp deserves death?

Most of these "deaths" were because of pre-drugged activity or the poor guy was so overweight/unhealthy they died from the arrest. So yes, you are correct. But I am not saying "They deserve death but to expect that death might be a likely outcome". Especially if weapons are involved. And how do you define a "bit of resistance"? If the resistance is off the wall which most times it is, bigger efforts have to be made to complete the arrest. The criminal determines how big of an effort has to be made to make the arrest, not the officer.
What exactly about Floyd's arrest was off the wall? Remember the video of the arrest, where the guy is kneeling on Floyd's neck, he's asking for air, and that fat Asian cop is just thumbs-in-his-waistband looking around as if he meant something?
He could have assisted in the arrest. He put forth no effort. That is why he is in jail right now, on accessory to murder charges. This was all unnecessary, man.
George was one of the "I am drugged and freaking out on my arrest" cases. I don't believe he was totally innocent in his arrest. Maybe he shouldn't of freaked out so much while being arrested. Freaking out freaks out the cops. And that feeds upon itself to a bad ending.
While he is on the ground, knee on neck, he's no longer freaking out. He is under control. Take knee off neck, see if he continues to resist? I dunno man. I did not see the entire 8 minutes of kneeling on the neck, but the first few minutes were enough to convince me that by that time, all the officers present could have at least attempted to lift him up, see if he was willing to be more cooperative.
Like a 30-day block timer, or something.
But up to that point of "The Kneeling" as we could call it, he had not been so nice about the arrest procedure. So why would they think he would now be more cooperative? By their experience they have probably found that most do not become more cooperative especially if they suspect the individual is on drugs or something that is influencing their mind.
