Boxter or Z4?

M3 gets my vote too.

Although I preferred th E36 style to the new E46 the performance and handling are suposedly excellent.

studied a Z4 today. there is something aesthetically wrong with the car. i can't put my finger on what it is, but the design is plain WRONG. like that new cadillac with the funky headlights--aesthetically wrong and hurts the eye.

I admit, I did not read through all 23 or so pages of this thread, but I have to give a shout out to the sweetest car I have ever driven:

1985 911 Turbo

(yes that is right mild mannered reader a turbo charged 911)

still debating on signing up for this one

its basically street legal race car - 190 hp and only 1600lbs for $38k fast and light, 1.3g turns

not out yet they are taking signatures and downpayments now

i sat in a european model with racing seats - could not move at all, snug.
