Bouncing futures

I'm talking about this evening and the amount they are bouncing up and down. Seriously.

That's because the market is literally digesting fake news and real news from media reports on this Russia Ukraine situation. There are always conflicting reports during times like these even thought it's 2022 and everything can be seen from a smartphone camera yet it feels like we are in 4th grade playing fuxking telephone.

Basically the gigantic news is that a nuclear power plant is on fire and thay it could be up to 10x worse than Chornobyl

Basically the gigantic news is that a nuclear power plant is on fire and thay it could be up to 10x worse tha. Cherynobel

Except the nuclear plant is not going to explode like Chernobyl did.

In all my 19 years of trading I've only seen futures bounce around like this a few times and never was the outcome a good one. The markets don't like uncertainty...

If you have traded for 19 years, you would have it written as :

In all my 19 years of trading,

I have seen the market move up and down massively and rapidly like what
happened this evening when the nuclear power plant was on fire.

And the outcome is great for the day traders.

The investors don't like uncertainty / volatility / crisis
but the day traders simply like the plentiful trading opportunities.
