So did you ever get a trade off? It doesn't look like you posted one live.

Now be honest, anonymous internet poster.:p

I felt bad that i missed that one

Thank you for your honesty, but who's the bigger fool - you or the OP?

I agree that he could have managed his exit much better such as locking in a profit with a spread - but leaving some room for more.

Ghost of Cutten called the silver top live nearly spot on. He bailed early on his trade, also. I did similarly with an oil short.

I guess that we're all just profitable fools.

What exit ? do u call a big chance like this : he could have managed his exit better ?! he is in already , i missed the trade because it was fast couldnt even get in , i am bearish on Silver 2 i was looking at long term options ...

I am looking myself at AGQ puts , but i am looking at Jan12 puts , any ideas ? which is the best way to participate in a silver drop for the long term ? AGQ puts , SLV puts , buying ZSL etfs ? looking at Jan13 puts as well , mmm ...

I felt bad for the guy no more ...

Sorry to say, I think that's a losing lottery ticket.

Why buy AGQ when you can just buy puts in SLV directly?

Silver's had the huge run up with few pullbacks and I'm guessing there's tons of people salivating on the sidelines saying: "Man, it's just run up too fast, but first pullback, I'm in!" I just don't see a 50% drop in the next couple of weeks.

Also, those puts are so far OTM that even if silver does get a decent pullback, you'll only participate in a minuscule fraction of it.

And yet, a week later, silver is down sharply...life sure is interesting!
