The 100-lot wasn't the issue.

I stated it would shut-down his critics to post the U-prefix which he did. He then stated he was kidding and it was a demo. I had not posted in the interim.

Biggest and baddest? It's not in our nature to be self-deprecating. Your logic sucks.

He felt the need to post the screenshot which showed the TWS order line and nothing else. I just loaded the IB demo and it a red bar appears stating demo system. I assume his account is legit as it doesn't appear photoshopped.

Photos are difficult to fudge, because of the continuous tone.
Thus the creation of a very powerful software called Photoshop, which, in a masterful hand, can do wondrous stitches and crops and pastes and airbrush to render reality where none existed.

Texts and flat tones are easy to fudge.
You do not require special skills or softwares. All you need is the Paint program that comes with Windows.

First, save 2 different images of TWS as jpg files.
Then open the 1st image with Paint.
Select an area of the TWS image, click copy.
Then paste the selection into another TWS image.
You will find that you can line up the grids and the new image will look flawless.


Lesson: don't trust anything on the internet at face value.

It was a fudged picture. Look at the two 'order management' columns. Their grids are not aligned, nor is it possible to even have 2 order management columns (notice the different spacing per column) in one window.

Ha, two order mgmt columns and the alignment is way off. Good call. He chopped off the "Demo system" header an attached his own TWS header to the demo grid.

Dang, atticus - I guess I ruffled your feathers here. Do I care - hardly. It does appear that I was conned w/ the crop shot, and I'll readily admit such (although it appears you were as well - heheh). My only other thought on the subject is that this poor guy (OP) must be in dire need of an ego stroking. I can only convey my pity.
