A smaller but notable holding is Amazon (AMZN). Berkshire maintained positions in each of these holdings last quarter.

I hope you don't think I'm being negative bringing up that AMZN, or any other stock, can continue to drop? After all we are still in a bear market and the trend is the trend till ... it bends.

Amazon looks to sell debt...Some will go for buyback, Yahoo! Finance says.
 
Six weeks later on my last post here.

I seems that Amazon is closing many fulfillment centers. They are repositioning to better locations. They may be adjusting their AWS (cloud) locations...Ohio.

It seems they have visions for years ahead...Get rid of tech jobs in California and open a new tech center next to Columbus Ohio!! Cheaper living and labor...Cheaper everything.

My Jan 23 $100. option on Amazon expired worthless.

Today I did another covered call for the July 23 $115. I got $5.00 for it. I had put in my price yesterday...I'm a late sleeper (CA). I could have got more, but wasn't sure I would get the fill...

Boring value...

I like the old IBKR\ ad they had a price [pre split 20to 1]OF AMZN on a mobile device, with the visible disclosure that was not a buy recommendation LOL.
Looks like JAN, some buyers finally bought some , so far below 200dma.
The good news on AMZN, no longer have to pay >$300,000 for 100:caution::caution:
Amazing how they helped book market, but i dont want to keep building new book shelves.

I wonder who killed them...

...operating margin 2.58%

WMT profit margin 2.36%
...operating margin 4.06%

Not just that WMT is slightly higher but that WMT does it without a Cloud Computing money-making machine like AWS.

The good news[ sarcasm] on AMZN is dont have to spend >$300,000 for 100 shares. Nothing like a good 20 to 1 stock split:caution::caution:

We will wait and see if Amazon is doing a major buyback of shares...

He did not sell or add...Just stayed the same.
