Unfortunately not that much with this kind of system. It is a portfolio system,
it makes much use of diversification (that's just one important part of its edge).
As said, It's a long-only options system, which is a big plus as it does not make any risky options selling.

Btw, you seem to be in a dreamland!
Man don't you know the DayTrading and the T+x rules? Forget such a $5k acct.
For being able to make multiple trades intraday at least $25k plus some cushion is necessary by US regulations
as everybody knows (or at least should know);
so your cited $5k account is IMO useless for system trading.

Because you tried it already yourself?

I have another system that "only" makes 231% in 6 months?
Would you prefer this over a system that claims to make 1000% p.a.?

You've been trading since 2000 or earlier, so you should have around 500k by now. If you bought a house or something with that then that's easy - refinance your house since 1000% returns will easily turn your into a billionaire fast, a no-brainer this one.

If I had a system making a return like that and one that was also scalable, I'd sell everything I own and borrow all I could to trade it myself.

Only explanation is that you don't really believe in your sky-high returns.

You haven't actually mentioned a valid reason why you need 500k either. My trading is very diversified and I have traded with less, as optionguru said, you can almost always size as you wish - especially with cheap options.

Not all life-lines are similar. I wasted my time with working for others.
I admit, at the moment I'm financially a poor man, don't own or have anything of value, except my knowledge and programming skills.

I explained my reasons in the other thread: let me recapitulate and summarize...
I was hoping to find someone (individual or firm) who would trade the system with their own acct,
and would in turn give me some share of the made profits (about 15% or so).
So, that part of the share is also one of the reasons for the said account size of 500k...
Ok, there is some room for scaling, true, but IMO the acct sholdn't be less than say $200k,
because I try to keep the MDD% below 5%, but the smaller the acct, the bigger the MDD% gets then...

I analyse all US stocks using AmiBroker.
Of all the high volume stocks which meet some criteria I analyse their EOD-histories going back till 2001.
Of those who were successful per quarter in more than 70% of the querters, and
those who were successful less then 30% of the quarters.
The ratio is: 716:8, ie. about 99%of the filtered stocks have positive quarter histories.
The criteria/filter I used:

Nostalgie... In the year 2002 Ameritrade has bought Datek.
And some years later Ameritrade itself has been bought by TD.
For me, and also for many other clients, things have significantly worsened after that takeover...
