Both Wallard & Bullard want a 75 point bump with another 50 points in September.

I think oil will bounce back. There's a structural supply problem caused by years of underinvestment, ESG discouraging investment, and horrible energy policy from current administration.

Rents and wages don't go lower. And wages have not kept up with inflation. Both will pressure earnings.

That's the narrative but CL is the same price it was four months ago. For all the talk it should be at 150 heading for 300, not struggling to hold triple digits.

Market prices overall are saying that excessive consumer demand has been killed by demand destruction and hawkish gov policy. A few quarters of tepid earnings will be looked-through given the prospect of the money fountain being turned back on. That's how I see it, I would love to be proven wrong and see TSLA, GME, crypto etc really taken to the woodshed.

Allowing? Who is this country called USA to tell Europe and in particular Germany what to do? Is that so called USA now sending LNG tankers en Masse to Germany to counter the supply crunch? I don't see any. Is American LNG cheaper than natural gas from elsewhere? Not that I know. So spare yourself your cheap talk. Walk the talk or shut up.

Killing the Keystone XL while allowing Nordstream 2 to go forward was a good example of America Last policy. Kill jobs here while allowing Europe to have a greater dependence on Russian energy.

Look how that played out. Angela Merkel really screwed Germany. Made Europe more dependent on Russia in order to look green.

I never claimed that Keystone would be a silver bullet, but it's an example of the unnecessary hostility shown towards the fossil fuel industry that discourages investment. I'm all for green energy, but trying to force people off of one form of energy while the next form of energy is not yet ready is just really bad policy.

My prediction, the Russia / Ukraine war will drag on for longer than most expect. I think / fear this winter will get interesting.

Except now the consumer is weaker as his or her wages have not kept up with inflation. Greater percentage of income going towards food, gas, rent, and utilities. Less left over for cheap crap made in China.

The hell we had to do with Nordstream? How on earth did we "let it go"? We (USA) had no say on that thing.

Whether we should have any influence or not is another question. The point is we did. The article that I referenced stated that US placed sanctions to block the pipeline. Somehow that seemed to have worked under Trump. Then Biden came along, did Putin a favor and removed the sanctions. What did he get in return? Nada... Too busy finding ways to supply China with oil from our strategic petroleum reserve I suppose:

There are many other cases where the US exerts policy over other countries. Somehow we have managed to convince a Dutch lithography machine manufacturer (ASML) to not sell its most advanced machines to China. Btw, buy ASML on the dip and hold for a long time...you'll thank me later. They got a monopoly on the litho industry.

You can't even property quote and reply to someone.

Would love to take a peek into your garage. I bet 90% of your crap and toys are made in China. Right wing hypocrite. Probably includes your mail order bride and adopted kids too because you are too clumsy to get it up.

I leave you to your illusion that you will buy everything Made in America from tomorrow. Not even your American flag and the instruments that play your national hymn are made in USA, lol. But you get wet in your pants each time when you stand up in the football stadium to sing praises to slavery, apartheid, the country with the largest inequality in the world and most homeless and junkies in the world. But praises to a useless military that just sits around and loses wars so that you can be proud to live in the nation with the mightiest military. Laughing my ass off.

I backup my opinions with facts, you spew baseless opinion.

I'll work on my "property quote" lol. You have quite the imagination.

That's not imagination. Guys like you have an orgasm each time the national hymn is sung. And tears in your eyes each Sep 11. Yet you spit in the faces of your brown neighbors and shop at Walmart, made in China, each Thursday. Hypocrites.

I literally accuse you of spewing baseless opinion. You respond by spewing more baseless opinion -- in this case unsubstantiated characterizations conforming only to your vulgar imagination and personal biases. Everyone here can see this and you only prove my point.

Oxymoron. An opinion does not have to be based on anything. It's an opinion. Look it up.
