Before I go down that road, I'd like to understand if you believe that hitting someone with a baseball bat is not trying to kill them. What about hitting someone with another blunt object over and over, is that trying to kill someone? Or do you conveniently only consider people who use objects called "lethal weapons" (guns, for example) as trying to kill someone?

I was actually referring to plans to blow up buildings and commit mass shootings. The kind of stuff the anarchists and communists were doing in the 30s in Germany.

Ok, so your beef is with people who plan to blow up buildings, but you are ok when people burn them down in an impromptu manner, or beat people with baseball bats, crowbars, etc. Is that what you are saying?
