Boom - Over 6 million lost insurance under Obamacare

6 million lost their plans and 75% of people will see higher premiums.

Indeed, Obama promised it many times, but Dr. Toby Cosgrove says it’s simply not true. “About three-quarters of them find that their premiums are higher than they had been previously with other insurance,” Cosgrove told Fox News.

And another lie was Odumbo saying an average family would see a $2500 DECREASE in premiums. The man never got past grade 4 math I bet.

But the Affordable Care Act carried with it the promise of covering 'every American,' and it appears to have fallen tremendously short.

The RAND study, which has not been published – only the Los Angeles Times has seen it – found that just 23 per cent of new enrollees had no insurance before signing up.

And of those newly insured Americans, just 53 per cent have paid their first month's premiums.

If those numbers hold, the actual net gain of paid policies among Americans who lacked medical insurance in the pre-Obamacare days would be just 858,298.

ANd 80+% got subsidies? Does this really say how UNPOPULAR this train wreck is? Out of 48 million ... 850K newly signed up. And let's even be generous and say 20% did not get a subsidy. Then a whopping 170,000 actually paid for their policies without us paying part of it for them!!!

I guess this is really Medicaid 2.0.

All we've done is use a multiplier, as used with Medicaid, take income into account and determine an arbitrary cutoff for handouts, errrr, subsidies. So an even LARGER percentage of the US population now gets partially or totally FREE healthcare. And we create an even larger deficit since this isn't paid for and $$$ will go back to insurance companies for the losses they incur.

Fox is airing the communist's pep rally about how 7M have signed up for this fiasco. Sure, 7M probably have signed up. However, the number ENROLLED is half that. The people who've lost their health insurance, far exceed the number that's been enrolled. And yes, I turned off his pep rally.

I could "almost" understand if the law were passed, if the communist had come out and originally said, "It's been my [wet] dream for the government to take over 1/5th of the economy, called the health care system. It's very likely that 100 million American's will have their current health plans cancelled, as they won't meet our 2,000+ pages of law. In addition, I understand you may like your doctor. However, you probably will need to find a new doctor, as his/her current system, and standards probably won't work with what we've come up for you."

God bless America:mad:

"If we don't like the political, economic, and social ramifications of a two-tier society where the poor outnumber the rich 100 to 1, we shouldn't have a two-tier society where the poor outnumber the rich 100 to 1." (Disclaimer: these figures may be estimates.) : )

exactly stop the left from supporting the cronies, taxing the crap out of the middle class and letting the private central bank inflate the hell out of our dollar....

only the top .5 percent of america make the big after tax money and the vast majority of those people are in banking and the industries banking runs. Such as real estate "moguling" and finance.

Income taxes and estate taxes prevent most on the non cronies from being able to pass down wealth more than one generation.
Income and estate taxes create the barrier between haves (the cronies) and the have nots.

that was as softball.

I've posted before .. I volunteer in a high poverty school and have done this 13 years. Today I worked with 20 kids or so. Four separate groups. 85% black and 15% Hispanic. Not a single white kid in my groups. Of those 20 I'd say 15 could have cared less about learning anything. Of the remaining five 3 were very eager to learn (2 Hispanic and 1 black). The other two were semi-driven to improve. So as long as poor kids have little desire to learn, and most have crappy parents we'll continue to have the 100:1 ratio or whatever it is. These kids are being given opportunities to LEARN. It's tiring to hear the NAACP, ACLU and other liberal groups whine about how poor kids get an inferior education. It's nonsense. Sure, the teachers may be younger and recently out of college and don't get to pick the nice upper class school to teach at. But in any profession you start near the bottom and work your way up. And ... these young teachers have a ton of energy and do their best to teach. But when they have constant disruptions in the classroom from kids shouting out to fights to disrespect for the teacher then one needs to look at the crux of the problem. And that is the home life they come from. Again, I say personal responsibility needs to come into play. Teachers are teachers ... they should not be expected to also serve in the role of parent, psychologist, babysitter, day care person, etc. to these kids. I no longer feel sorry for a lot of the poor people .... they make choices like the rest of us. The kids I have some sympathy for as their behavior is mostly learned from their parents. So until the poor want to truly improve their place in life we'll continue to not only have a lot of poor, but in all likelihood see even more in the future since their birth rates are higher than educated, middle and middle upper class people.

And what does it say that the disparity between classes has never been greater than under Obama?

I agree with you, to a point. First, I'd be surprised if it were 100 to 1. It's probably more like 10,000 to 1, if not more. Of course, this is dependent on what is "Rich" to you. Rich to me is 7 figures.

But get rid of all politicians, regardless of party, who continue to support cronyism. Get rid of those who are guilty of bribes, of nepotism. Remove all lobbyists. Set term limits. Crush Wall Street rampant corruption and big bank donations to politicians....

There are so many places to start.

Reality will show obamacare numbers are terrible.
