What I'm currently missing in all of this is the use of the PVAD score.

It seems like it serves no purpose other than being "informational".

I create a universe, draw in some channels, rank the moves within those channels, I choose the stocks which look the most promising, put them on my hotlist and monitor UV the next day.

In this process neither the PVAD score nor the MACD and Stochastics serve any purpose.

I hope you dont mind me giving my view of how I use the PVAD in the quality stocks you trade. The best way would be to give you an example. Imagine a cup with handle formation. This happens on any time frame. I just prefer the daily timeframe for intermediate term trends. The right side of the cup is made by a thrust to resistance at which point volume drifts off and price starts to drift down. This is typified by the handle part. Its at this point i key off of the PVAD score to enter the stock. I am looking for the resumption of the right side of the trend and BO out of the cup. The handle could be narrow, or retrace half of the upmove of find support on a MA.

In terms of Stochastics...this is an iceberg turning into a rocket.

Get in early...be patient and let that stock break out of the cup!Fundamentals are important too. Hope this is somewhat helpful.

Now I'm not sure how a "cup and handle" looks like for you. Would you mind posting a chart where that is/was visible?

Also what is an "iceberg" and a "rocket"?

I guess that's b/c FF is more of a visual person.I had difficulties with that one,too,at some point.Until some guy from the web stepped in.

I kept those visual aids though.How do you thin,maybe I should share it with FF,or let him struggle?
