Booktrader vs. Ninjatrader, Buttontrader, etc.

Does booktrader have better fills than Ninjatrader, Buttontrader, etc.?

Don't know about Buttontrader, but when I used Ninjatrader,
Booktrader would get your order to TWS faster than NT...

This was a year or two ago...

I just leaned that NT now uses direct-socket-communication as well, so it will be faster now

BookTrader seems back-assward, clicking the ask price to sell.

IB should buy out ButtonTrader. It could be a selling feature for TWS and the traders could get it for free.

Are you listening IB?

u can change da settin' however u desire'n'click da ask to buy.

Tried a number of different settings for BookTrader. Would be still using it today if I hadn't found ButtonTrader. Compared to Ninja Trader, Bracket Trader, etc, I didn't see a big enough advantage to use them instead of BookTrader.

There are just too many more benefits using ButtonTrader. Visually, it's just more intuitive.

I wonder why IB does not have reverse stop, trailing stop & strategies in the BookTrader yet. It can not be that hard for their in house programmers.
