PPS It's ironic that I'm having this discussion at the same time as arguing with other people on the internet who say my trading strategies don't have enough [positive] skew, and I'm not allowed in the pure trend followers club as a result

Has anyone read Quantitative Technical Analysis by Howard Bandy? I am reading the chapter on Issue Selection and don't see how he gets his charts and text outputs from the python code he shows at the end of the chapter.

You might want to check out Stefan Jansen's ML4T. Not done with it yet but it's a good read, very detailed.
