Lance, I have looked at all the time frames for this contract and can't see anything related to TA that would support the target of this trade.

Is this trade based purely on fundamental analysis?

Thanks!

If Helicopter Ben starts pontificating and we have lackluster 5YR demand today we could sell off!

I am looking to get involved lower.

Long term = length of time greater than what I discuss in this journal. Anything held overnight or longer.

Short term = length of time I discuss in this journal. Typically no more than 1 - 4 hours in the morning.

As for the rest of your questions, I think they are addressed to someone else as I never said I would go long and I never said "it sucks short term."

In any event, can't a person feel short term one way and long term another? I think that is a basic foundational element of trading.

in fact it was addressed to you. I was surprised that you agree with Lance's ~114 but at the same time suggest that in the short term it may go to 111-01.
I am trading very long time frames (by your definition) and I would never enter according to a long term target if I feel that short term is against me...
hope you made some money today....

ES breaks Globex Low - there goes the Bonds will test and break the High

I doubled down on my shorts yesterday @111.24

I'm hoping for deflationary news. Yes, you read that right.

The only way to get bonds lower is to change sentiment to bullish by painting a picture of inflation being in check. Then those new longs can add fuel to the fire when they're forced to puke lower.

Bull markets climb a wall of worry while bear cycles are fueled by misperceptions of price concessions equating value.

The only worry I have now is what is my Bank going to think when I deposit the profit checks from these trades, lol
