Bond rally nearing an end?

Luc,

My day target was met. Anything around 110 22 to 110 24 is an excellent exit for shorts taken above 111 00 on a day trade.

Unless today develops into a "V" day (see my journal), then I would say we are done for today. I just took a small 1 tick loss on a buy from 110 26. I'm calling it a day. Not bad working hours, huh?

As far as position trades, per my journal and my post here, I haven't gotten 1 right this year. My daytrading has always come around to make up for any losses in the position trades.

Lance and mcurto,

I'd like to personally thank you for your posts a couple days ago as well as recently.

Lance and mcurto are responsible for the extra bit of confidence I had in initiating large size shorts today as well as getting out at 110 24 (Dec ZB's).

No doubt about it. Today is an outlier day for me in terms of hitting on all cylinders and my compensation for that.

Way to go JOHN!

Visited your stomping ground over the long weekend mcurto... What a beautiful city, pleasantly suprised that such a large city can still be so liveable...

Tried to take a "tour" of the CBOE, but were quickly kicked out by a nasty security guard. I don't quite fit the profile of a terrorist, but they looked like they had seen the terminator had walked thru the door. Then tried to get into the CBOT (saw the good ol Ceres hangout) but that was also pretty well boarded up. sigh...

One other question, is Lou Malnati's pizza any good? We ate dinner there and we were kinda underwhelmed by the deep dish... Maybe we got a bad batch but it tasted like a hunk of tasteless cheese...

Can't wait to go back to the windy cityl...

That sounds like Lou's...blah For all the hype I was deeply disappointed by Chicago Pizza when I moved here. I still like my cheap blackjack pizza out west! haha

I'm glad I'm not the only one... I never thought the local Pizza Hut would taste better...

I am still partial to Patsy's Pizza in NYC., Coal fired thin crust.
(1st Ave and 116th Street is the original if you are adventurous, and the only one that sells individual slices!)
