Bombshell Fast & Furious TV Report Coming Sunday

The Obama administration clearly hoped that the Department of Justice’s Inspector General report on Operation Fast and Furious would be the last word on the scandal. which has been tied to hundreds of deaths in Mexico and the murders of two American law-enforcement officials. However, a new report from Univision to be broadcast tomorrow, previewed here by ABC News, may put the issue back on the front pages. One source called Univision’s findings the “holy grail” that Congressional investigators have been seeking:

It does not matter what they find about Fast and Furious. They can have video tape of Obama personally handing out guns to Mexican drug dealers and the media will simply sweep it under the rug.

“On January 30, 2010, a commando unit of at least 20 hit men parked themselves outside a birthday party of high school and college students in Villas de Salvarcar, Ciudad Juarez,” according to a version of the Univision report in English, on the ABC News website.

“Near midnight, the assassins, later identified as hired guns for the Mexican cartel La Linea, broke into a one-story house and opened fire on a gathering of nearly 60 teenagers. Outside, lookouts gunned down a screaming neighbor and several students who had managed to escape. Fourteen young men and women were killed, and 12 more were wounded before the hit men finally fled.”

Citing a Mexican Army document it obtained and published, Univision reported that “[t]hree of the high caliber weapons fired that night in Villas de Salvarcar were linked to a gun tracing operation run by the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF).”

That operation was Fast and Furious.

The “massacre,” as Univision described it, was not the only bombshell the network unveiled in its Sunday evening report.

“Univision News identified a total of 57 more previously unreported firearms that were bought by straw purchasers monitored by ATF during Operation Fast and Furious, and then recovered in Mexico in sites related to murders, kidnappings, and at least one other massacre,” the Univision report reads.

Fast and Furious was a joint media/Obama administration plot to generate public support for at least another ridiculous assault weapon ban and also additional restrictions on the rights of law abiding americans to buy firearms, including probably a requirement that all long gun slaes be registered.

There were a series of articles in the Washington Post purporting to highlight the problems of assault weapons sales. Clearly they had planned for it to culminate in a big gun seizure, with stacks of scary looking weapons. Instead, their criminal incompetency resulted in the death of a Border Patrol agent. They then went into full scale coverup mode, again aided and abetted by the media.

As Rep. Issa's investigation gre closer, they tossed a couple of lower ranking politicla hacks off the back of the wagon. Whether or not the original idea originated with obama or Holder, it is clear the coverup went to their level. If this were a republican administration, Holder would have been forced out already and probably would be facing criminal charges, with Obama hanging by a thread. Instead, the media attacks Issa for being overly partisan.

Doesn't the fact that the media is hurting America with their unmitigated bias just make you angry? It does me.
