BOMBSHELL! Comey Memo Says Trump Asked Him to End Flynn Investigation

Would be funny if Comey was the one to bring down both Hillary and Trump.

LMFAO

He'd be a personal hero of mine. We all knew Hillary fuked up but were willing to let it slide because really, "who cares?" and the alternative was exponentially worse. Him going after Trump shows him to be true to the law.

those notes do not sound like they were contemporaneous.
those notes may not overcome foundation and hearsay objections
for instance this was not an investigation

the notes might also not overcome hearsay objections.
the notes might also not overcome foundation objections

finally I am not even sure what Trump said was some sort of admission because they may not have even been a violation of law.

They are contemporaneous if you go by the dictionary and according to the reporting meets the FBI criteria, rest of your objections are likely to be already debated and agreed upon in courts.

It's very rich in detail and hopefully it will come out soon,” the friend of Comey, who spoke on condition of anonymity, told POLITICO. "There are other memos about his meetings too. He wrote down every word Trump said to him as soon as he could."
“One thing I learned at DOJ about Comey: he leaves a protective paper trail whenever he deems something inappropriate happened. Stay tuned,” Matthew Miller, a former DOJ spokesperson, wrote on Twitter last week.

The memo was written at the time and is in FBI's possession time-stamped. The disrguntled employee schtick won't work but even if that's the excuse then wrongful termination and lying about the cause is still an issue.
There was no wrongful termination. You can't even write one response that is accurate.

You were the one who talked about courts of law. So we would not go with a dictionary. We would go with case law or the evidence code... or perhaps more of an authority as a last resort like blacks law dictionary.

for instance...

Evidence Code 1241 EC – Contemporaneous statement. (“Evidence of a statementis not made inadmissible by the hearsay rule if the statement: (a) Is offered to explain, qualify, or make understandable conduct of the declarant; and (b) Was made while the declarant was engaged in such conduct.”)

this is a pretty good run down...and would be pretty similar to federal court...
but again... this would probably be predicated on the fact the subject was doing something criminal...

so lets start with easy one.

What law did Trump break when he was speaking with Comey?

AG said he was fired for being harsh to Hillary

Trump said he was fired for going hard on the Russian investigation

Turns out, Trump tried to stop the Russian investigation and then Comey got fired. So the Trump admin lied/gave wrong info while firing Comey.
