how much should we raise taxes on the wealthy? What is your plan? Do you have a rate? When does a person become wealthy? Have you really thought this through? Or are you just talking out of your ass like a democrat to make yourself feel good? The "wealthy" don't have enough money even if you taxed it all to pay for what you democrats want.

you know, India went through this long ago, and they made raising taxes, or in their case killing cattle for meat a sin. Even those backward religous Hindus realized that if you kept killing cattle, pretty soon there would be no milk for your babies. But democrats are of very low intelligence, even lower than a god fearing hindu and can't admit that raising taxes is tantamount to admitting failure. If 30 percent is not enough, I doubt 40 or 50 perent will be much better. Democrats are like spoiled little children who can't understand why Daddy won't pay for a trip to Disney World this year. They have no understanding of a budget. All they know is money is something other people have and they want it. If you want to get a good laugh, ask a democrat how to make a dollar. The only way they know how to make more money is to raise taxes. To them, money is how much revenue the government takes in each year. And it is never enough, and they always need more.

When Obama wanted to raise taxes on the wealthiest, the argument was that it would hurt "the job creators", so it was opposed. But now that Obama wants to (apparently) benefit "the job creators", via the TPP, it's opposed.

Where will the job creation be? What are the other aspects of the bill? Perhaps if that were made known, there would be less opposition.

Tea Party Republicans caved. Repubs vowed to fight Obamacare and Immigration policies.. they caved, too.
