Regardless, it's not just about the size. The symmetry's the thing. Perhaps Zane's size was constrained by his relatively small bone structure. But as far as I'm concerned, that played in his favor. The bigger-boned guys were just too thick in my opinion. They had the size but not quite the aesthetics.
It's interesting that you're a Zane fan because his training protocol couldn't be more opposite than the approach you've adopted over the years and talk about often. Zane did split workouts 3 - 4 days per week and generally did between 16 - 30 sets per workout.

But in the end, I know that "pro" bodybuilding physiques are more the result of drugs and genetic expression than routine and nutrition.
