Is the 5-tick thing self-imposed or money-based. Can you trade more than 1 lot?
I expect you're paying sub-2 euro round trip commish so my advice is to pick market features (new high of day/low of day/retrace to daily mid point etc) and scalp around them while you learn how the market behaves at those points.
