Bob Brinker's Market Timer

He has been on the radio for the last 20 years on weekend afternoons!(check ABC stations) He got into the market in early 1990's; out in Jan 2000; and back in Mar 03! Not a buy and hold proponent.
Yeah, very good long term timer. Proponent of index trading and strong on economics. Views current market as a cyclical bull in a secular bear. The bull began in Mar 03 and 2-3 years is it under most situations.

Excellent method way for most to participate in the market via long term timing.
 
if you follow bob brinker you are still holding qqq from 80 range. he makes some good calls and some stinkers just like all the rest of them.

I have heard him many time deny that on his radio show..

says he told people to get out of Q's long before they took a dive imo

that is a baldfaced lie if he said that. mostly i think he just refuses to talk about it. i followed him very closely back then and was involved in that whole controversy. i guess people have short memories and if you deny something long enough you get a whole new crop of sheep that believe you.

I never followed him closely but I catch the broadcasts occasionally. I heard him predict the $COMPX could hit 1100 shortly after the peak. I give him credit for that one. He seems to screen his callers so that only those singing his praises get on the show.
 
the problem is that I do not 100% agree with his bullish views,
what does cyclical bull and secular bear actually mean? I think we might very well be in a sideways market!!!!
