On my platform (anvil/assent), if a stock drops 20 pts in AH, and you short it after it has already tanked, you come in the next morning up 20 points, as the system assumes you are short from the closing price.

In other words, a very easy way to inflate your figures on a consistent basis without resorting to photoshop. But who'd bother, right? Shrug.

Dude are you suggesting that there might be a sick fuck out there on ET who would constantly make posts in the P/L thread with inflated figures in order to appear to be a consistent money making money to attract attention of jealous newbies so that he can recruit them?

No one in the world would do such a thing.
