It's more about the perspectives and concepts. same as reading WSJ or IBD. you wouldn't trade based solely on their articles would you?
 
He has somehow developed a system for understanding whether trends are in there infancy or late stage and he has made a lot of money doing it.

Also said to have invested very very early in asian real estate (Singapore, Hong Kong) in the mid 80s, way before anybody had it on their radar screen.
