Bloomberg intraday data only 250 days history

So you pay USD 24,000 per year for 250 days of intraday stock data.

Is there a data vendor with a longer history than 250 days and the ability to scan intraday data?
 
I used to have a bloomberg and asked them why is so limited for historical data. I complained about this and was told the high volume of support requests for old data was a big issue for them as well as its just a niche market generally.

what is it you are hoping to find that you won't find analyzing the last 250 trading days, though?
 
250 days is nothing. I have profited from strategies lasting 15 years. I have tested hundreds of strategies working for at couple of years that were reversed going back 3 years. I need much more than 250 days to gauge the odds.
