is it me or have the majority of billionaires completely lost their mind and dissociated from reality?? i mean you have people out of work for 2 years and this guy is talking about rain storms? holy moly.
 
the only proof that i need to be certain that bloomberg has lost his mind is his ban on large soda cups.

you HAVE to be completely out of touch with reality to worry about things like that. its like math 1+1=2 and there is no other answer.

climate change + soda cups = delusional.


i should also mention he demanded the occupy freaks who were banging eachother, dropping acid, smoking crack and camped out on private property be allowed to stay. yeah bloomy, you're amazing.. idiot.

New York state asks Washington to cover all storm costs

NEW YORK/WASHINGTON (Reuters) - New York state on Wednesday asked the U.S. federal government to pay all the costs of cleaning up and repairing damage from massive storm Sandy that tore through the Northeast this week and crippled New York City.

Governor Andrew Cuomo said he is asking fellow Democrat, President Barack Obama, to pay 100 percent of the estimated $6 billion bill, at a time that state and local government budgets remain constrained by a weak economic recovery.

Bloomberg is a liberal in conservative/independent clothing. He's so far left he can't walk in a straight line without turning left.

I can't wait for the bottling companies to win their law suit over his 'no large soda' law. That is the stupidest idea I have heard in a long time. Typical liberal stupidity.
 
Bloomberg is pandering to the far left, obama loving socialist majority of New York state for his gubernatorial run after he's done being mayor.

It is much worse than stupidity.

Who wants to live in a place where they tell you what you can or cannot eat? Where does that lead?

At some point that kind of thinking extrapolates out to where the thermostat in your home is controlled by the government from a central location administered by a bureaucrat.

Or maybe the government monitors and tallies up all of the alcoholic beverages you purchase using point-of-sale information in real-time and compares that figure with mandated maximum allowable limits that are based upon your individual height, weight and medical considerations that are lifted from your government medical records and modified using a complex algorithm that is taken from your driving record gleaned from the Department of Motor Vehicle computers and other factors like an attitude assessment that is based on your last 5 salary reviews which are kept in a huge database. When your current purchase would exceed the calculated limit lights start flashing and klaxons blast out an alarm and armed men rapel straight down through the ceiling tiles, set off a flash bang grenade and tackle you.
